“Storie di Valore” (Stories of Value) are a series of multimedia stories created to enhance and make “visible” the Historical Archive of Intesa San Paolo: the birth and spread of the Savings Banks in the nineteenth century, with a particular focus on the Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde. From the Unification of Italy to the First World War up to the advent of Fascism: the land credit operations of the Cassa di Risparmio delle Provincie Lombarde, the Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, the San Paolo in Turin, the Banco di Napoli.
